Pamela Weiss is a dual-lineage Buddhist teacher in Soto Zen and Theravada and the author of “A Bigger Sky: Awakening a Fierce Feminine Buddhism.” She teaches through Spirit Rock Meditation Center, San Francisco Zen Center and Vallecitos Mountain Retreat Center. Small Group Discussions allow us to learn from and connect with other sangha members.
We will meditate, followed by discussing a topic suggested by our Facilitator. We break into small groups of 4-6, both in-person at SFBC, and in Zoom ‘breakout rooms’.

GBF teachers are from all schools of Buddhism and speak on the application of the dharma in modern times. Following our program, those who are interested usually walk somewhere local together to socialize over lunch.
Location
We gather at the San Francisco Buddhist Center at 37 Bartlett Street in San Francisco’s Mission District.
Bartlett Street is between Mission & Valencia. Look for the red door near 21st Street.
SFBC is wheelchair accessible.
