Jim Fishman is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in San Francisco. He ran a therapy group for sexually compulsive gay and bisexual men Operation Concern/New Leaf in the mid-eighties through early nineties. He was co-founder of the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts. Jim teaches group theory and consults to group therapists. He has a daily meditation practice, and he lived in an ashram in India for two years in the late 1990's.
